Rice Creek Farm

Come visit our farm or see us at the Princeton Farmer’s Market during the July-September Market season.

We’re a small, family-run garlic farm in East Central Minnesota, growing since 2013 with Chesnok Red and expanding our variety collection. By summer 2025, we will harvest 20 garlic types, including new storage varieites, softneck varieties for braiding, wild types, and true seed offspring. We’re excited to be able to experiment with developing our own true seed and unique varieties in the future. Garlic scapes will be available for purchase and shipping in mid to late June and seed garlic will ship after Labor Day. Join our garlic-specific or general produce email lists for updates on farm offerings and local pick-up by emailing ricecreekfarm@yahoo.com.

We prioritize practical, nature-friendly farming, using low-till/no-till methods and natural fertilizers, some of which we make ourselves. Beyond garlic, we grow shallots and our own crossbred potato onions. As members of Minnesota Grown, we also sell at a local farmer’s market, with updated market details posted each summer below.

Garlic can be ordered by email: ricecreekfarm@yahoo.com and payment can be arranged by check, PayPal, or Venmo. Garlic and other produce can also be picked up at our farm. Email or call to arrange a visit.
